Q:  Why does this system cost so much less than the treatment offered by my dentist who asks for $300?

A:  Your dentist has a lot of overhead. Chair time means money for a dentist. Because we specialize only in tooth whitening and work directly with the manufacturer here in the United States, we can afford to give you the best deal possible. Not only do you get the exact same service, but you can use it from the comfort of your own home.  The Britech 3-Step Tooth Whitening System was developed by a Doctor of Cosmetic Dentistry for fast whitening action and long lasting results. The unique formula is balanced with high adhesion qualities designed to stay on tooth surface. The same whitening gel is dispensed by dental offices worldwide. From the moldable trays to the gel containing active ingredient Carbamide Peroxide to the at- home procedures, the treatment is exactly what a professional dentist would prescribe. The difference is the cost! ToothWhiteningExperts.com is able to provide the Britech Tooth Whitening System through direct manufacturing. Therefore, we offer you the same treatment that dentists use at substantially lower cost.  Why pay more for the same thing?

Q:  I already have a moldable tray, can I purchase your whitening gel alone?

A:  Yes, we have 23% and 35% professional Carbamide Peroxide whitening gel separately in either 2, 4 or 8 applicators. This is the same whitening gel that is sold in the complete systems and professional dental offices. It can be used with any dental tray.

Q:  Is teeth whitening really safe?

A:  Yes, years of dental whitening treatments by dental offices have proven that teeth bleaching is safe. When directions for use are followed, home application is safe and effective. If problems such as teeth sensitivity or gum irritations are experienced, the frequency of use should be reduced from every day to every other day. Some people experience mild to moderate teeth sensitivity however, it normally subsides a day or so following completion of treatment.

Q:  How does the treatment work?

A:  A rubber moldable "tray" or mouthpiece is used to disperse the whitening gel evenly over each tooth. After shaping the trays for upper and lower teeth, the whitening gel, which contains the active ingredient Carbamide Peroxide, is applied to the tray and inserted into the mouth and over the teeth. The tray is left in place for 20-30 minutes. Extending treatment times for faster whitening may be alright if teeth are not over-sensitive. As the gel is activated, a slight tingling or bubbling sensation may be felt, which is the oxidation process taking place. Blue LED lights may be used to accelerate the process.  Basically, the Carbamide Peroxide based ingredients penetrate porous tooth enamel, "bleaching" away discolorations that are present as the result of certain food, drink or other staining substances. Treatment should be done on upper and lower teeth each day or at the user's discretion until desired whitening is achieved. Twice a day treatments may achieve faster whitening results if teeth and gum sensitivity is not apparent. However, the same degree of whitening may be realized over time by whitening only twice weekly.

Q:  How many treatments are expected from one whitening gel applicator?

A:  There should be 8-10 individual dental tray treatments per 3ml applicator. The actual number of treatments depends largely upon the amount of gel applied by the user. When dental trays are properly formed, only a small amount of whitening gel is required for even distribution over tooth surfaces.

Q:  How long will it take to whiten my teeth?

A:  Whitening results often become apparent during the first few treatments, but typically, a very noticeable whitening effect becomes evident after about 5 to 8 treatments. Teeth will continue to whiten with each successive treatment until desired results are achieved.

Q:  How long do results last?

A:   For most people, the results are long lasting. Exposure to coffee, tobacco, red wines and certain other stain producing substances will eventually darken teeth again over time. After initial treatment, it is recommended that you do touch-ups every 6-12 months based on the amount of stain producing substances that you are exposed to. The Britech Whitening System is not a "typical" type whitening product and is considerably stronger than most. The active ingredient in the whitening gel, Carbamide Peroxide is in professional dental office strength of either 23% or 35%.
